Thread Sketching in Action—the Video Series
Late 2014 saw the birth of Thread Sketching in Action (the series), a series of short video demonstrations for thread sketching, thread painting and free motion stitch designs for creative textile artists.
Each video is different—some demonstrate simple techniques, others more advanced—covering a range of styles and subject matter.
Some are traditional scenes, some pictorial or representational, others are abstract in nature.
These demonstrations are intended as inspiration—they are not full tutorials and, in the main, only show the stitching element of the creation of each piece. Nevertheless, there is much to be gleaned and learned from these, is that is your wish.
