Great Place to Start
Love this book. This was a terrific way for me to get started thread sketching. Deborah is thorough, answering all my questions before I had to ask! The projects are in an order that kept me busy but not intimidated.

Good Beginner’s Guide
The author is very thorough. She covers every tool and method for beginning thread painting. Her projects graduate from simple to more complicated, but each is progressively doable by the beginner sewer. Her explanations about needles, threads, and stabilizers are valuable for any level sewer.

A Very Fine Reference Book
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more a out embroidery techniques. The author describes quite well the basics of stabilizing information. Very well written and a quick read. It’s also helpful for learning the different brands of stabilizer, good directions. The photography of the embroidery is beautiful. Valuable for any level sewer.

Beautifully Done Pet Quilts
I really like this book. It is very clear on how to create pet quilts. I also felt it was very easy to extrapolate and use the techniques for other types of art quilts. I am using these ideas now to create an undersea quilt. Definitely one of the better quilting books I have purchased.

Very Helpful and Easy to Follow Instructions
This is a very helpful easy to follow book. I struggled with stabilising my embroidery until I read Deborah’s book.
